A few new projects

WOW! It has been a bit since my last post. Things have been a little crazy around the Stubbs house. Logan is getting bigger and bigger by the day. He is also getting closer to the "terrible Twos" and it is showing! Between work and Logan, I haven't had much free time to make anything. Until today.

I went over to my upline's house (HI Karen!) and we made Santa and Mrs. Claus. How cute are these guys?!

When I got home, I wanted to "play" some more. I made Frosty as a bag topper. The bags I have are to large though, so he is a table tent for now. I noticed after I took the picture, I did not finish his eyes. Now he has a little squiggle of Segno Pen to finish him off.

I also tried etching for the first time. It was super easy and really fun. I am going to add a picture of Logan and give this to my father at Christmas time. Next I am going to try and do etching with a stamp. That should be fun as well. There is a Dollar tree in town so I am going to pick up some plates and more frames tomorrow.

NSR: New blog I found

I stumbled upon this website called Kidoinfo parent's guide: Providence and beyond. This is the website http://kidoinfo.com/ri/. It is pretty cool, the blogger talks about everything from local events, games to play, books to read, recipes to try out, health concerns, basically everything.

So check it out and let me know what you think about it.

So I have been thinking on how to get some cards on here for you guys to see. With my camera being down and out, I feel like I am neglecting you gals.

Then it hit me! I can create a card challenge and showcase all your awesome cards. Take it easy on me since this is my first attempt at a card challenge. If you all like it, I might make it a weekly thing.

Now come on and lets get started. :~)

MDS Card Share

I have an awesome upline (Hi Karen!) who got me the MDS (My Digital Studio) as a surprise present. How nice was that? I have been tinkering around with it trying to get a feel for how it works. I have never been good at any of these online digital anythings.

This is the first card I have made. Let me tell you, it was pretty fun. I love the fact that if you don't like how it turned out just hit delete. Boy did I use that button a few times. :~) I can see this being a handy tool when it comes time to plan out workshops, SAS, or anything like that.

When I get the real card in the mail, I will take photos and show you the final project.

I have some Halloween stuff that I have made up waiting to have photos taken of and to post. I am still fighting with the camera that I have. I really don't want to buy a new one so close to the holidays. I am hoping for a new one for Christmas. I will try to borrow one sometime this week to get some pictures up for you guys to see.

6X6 Technique Pages

A group of us got together and made some technique pages. These are 6X6 pages that fit perfectly in the SU! linen albums. Like what you see? You can join us the first Tuesday of each month for "Technique Tuesday". Here you will learn three new techniques. We make the instruction page with example and also a card highlighting the technique learned. Email me today for more information.

I think it is time for a new camera. I can not figure out what is wrong with the one I have. So again, I apologize for the hazy look these pictures have.

Christmas Wish List

Hi Everyone!

Is there something that you REALLY REALLY want for Christmas from Stampin' Up? If so, I got the solution for you!

Simply make a wish list of your favorite Stampin' Up! items and email them to me. I'll take your list and compose a personalized website where your friends and family can view your list, shop online, and have items delivered in plenty of time before the holidays.

Won't it be nice that they can get their Christmas shopping done from the comfort of their office or home...oh, and they can be confidant you'll love their gift, because you picked it out! Best part is if they order by December 5th, I'll gift wrap your presents for them.

Email me your wish list today so I can help you receive all the Stampin' Up! stuff you've been wishing for!

Here is a sample of what your personalized website will look like.
