I am a member of a special team of people who care about the health of babies. That's why we have banded together to raise money and participate in the March of Dimes March for Babies. I am asking you to join our fundraising efforts today by sponsoring my walk.
Contributing online is fast, easy and secure. You can donate directly from my personal webpage with a credit card or PayPal. If you prefer, I can also accept cash or check. Just click the appropriate box on my webpage.
The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
We need your help. Visit my webpage and sponsor me!
I know in these tough times it is hard to donate to charities. Even the smallest amount will help tremendously. In the spirit of donating, I am going to give away blog candy to two lucky people.
After you make a donation with March for Babies, come back and leave a comment that you did so. On February 5th, I will use random.org to pick two names. The first person will receive an assortment pack of 8.5X11 cardstock (family color your choice). The second person will receive a wheel stamp of their choice (standard or jumbo; $8.50 max). Anyone who donates $5 or more is eligible for the blog candy.
Please spread the word! The more people who donate, the more babies we can help give the fighting chance they deserve.

I joined a themed monthly swap for the 2010. I decided that this swap would help kick my but in gear and stop procrastinating. For the month of January, Valentine cards was the theme.
This is what I came up with. I was trying to stay away from the tradtional pink, red, and white cards. As you can see, I was slightly succesful. :~)

A few months ago my upline, Karen Sullivan, gave me a magnetic sheet to play with. At the time, I had no clue what to do with it, so into the "stamp cave" it went. I had forgotten about it until last night when I decided to clean out my closet and see what I had in there.
I instantly knew what I wanted to do when I saw it. I got some mini calendars last month in a group bulk buy with the LNS group. I knew that I wanted to mount the calendar and stick it on the fridge but didn't want it to be to plain. The top note was a perfect size for the magnetic sheet. I got two out of the one sheet that I had.
I used the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper, silver brads, and a little bit of glue stick to make this. It is still a little plain, but I have more to add to it. I am going to make the whole thing into a message center. I was just wicked happy that I got the magnet to hold that I had to share with you guys.
The second top note is going to be a post it note holder. I am also going to make a third top note out of the new decor elements chalkboard vinyl. When those are completed, I will share more pictures with you.
Until then, I hope you guys are having a great weekend and stamping your hearts out! :~)
